2018 Recap

Happy New Year everyone! This post is a little a lot late, lol. 2018 was seriously an exciting year. I don’t think we’ve ever done so much traveling-and with a baby, no less! Salzburg, Vienna, Prague, Hallstatt, Paris (three times!), Rome, Florence, Cinque Terre, Zurich, Amsterdam, and all over Germany. Whew! To say it was exhausting is an understatement… But what fun we had! We also celebrated a milestone of 10 years married, and Lucas turned one!(Pisa)

I love art, history, and religion, so my heart is extremely content with experiencing so many of these beautiful wonders in such a little time. We were on a mission to do as much as we could before we leave. We’d originally thought we would be heading stateside before the year was up, but we haven’t heard anything about a date yet. To be honest, I feel a little bittersweet about leaving. I have a love/hate relationship about living here and I’m not sure if I want to leave. We still have so much more to see and do!(Cinque Terre)

(Roma)

(Firenze)

We miss our family and friends, and to be honest, we miss all of our favorite food! 😭 I can make almost anything we crave, but I’m tired. Ya know? It’d be nice to just head out and grab some tacos or burgers that I don’t have to make. Europe is amazing, but not much in the way of food. Well, at least not foods that I particularly like. I will say though, the pastries and wine and cheese are the best in the world! They come plenty and cheap! So through all of our grand adventures, we make sure to grab a coffee, a pastry, and then drink glorious and copious amounts of vino 🙂 Until next time, ciao!
